A POSTCARD FROM
FREDRICH WILHELM FRANCK 1910
The card shows a view of farmers in Iceland standing in front of their sod-roofed houses. It is written in Danish. Here is an English translation:
Reykjavik, July 18, 1910
Dear Brother in Law, As I am on a small vacation trip from Copenhagen to [????] and from there to Iceland, along the Scottish east coast to the Faroe Islands and around Iceland to Reykjavik, it takes 25 days, which so far has been a great trip with many beautiful impressions of nature's might. I have to enjoy some of my life, before it is too late, so you should not be too surprised, if you see me in America some day.
Now a friendly greeting to your wife and children from your brother in law.
Franck.
