Father Timothy Kelliher

Father Tim Kelliher, Coolelieve, 1881 - 1960, was Parish Priest of Ballybunion at his death. This photo is probably from his ordination. The Seminary in Maynooth, Co. Kildare should have a full record on him, as would the Kerry Diocese, Diocesan office in Killarney. The picture appeared on page 76 of St. Carthage's Kiltallagh by Maura Geaney Marshall.

This photo and the comments above are offered here courtesy of Mary Leinenbach, who together with many others, is engaged in an extensive project cataloging the Coolelieve Kellihers, among other families from that general area. A reasonable estimate is that this photo was taken when Tim was about 25-27, approx. 1906 - 1909.
